A Taste of Personality

From ice cream to tomato soup, to even something as simple as pizza, these chefs enjoy a wide variety of foods. On Tuesday, December 16th, Jen Royle, Eric LeBlanc, and Dan Brosford (3 chefs from ABC’s show The Taste) arrived at SBRHS for a cook off and some Q&A.  Their main topic of discussion during the Q&A was about their friendship.  After being on the show, which was the best experience of their lives, they became really good friends and plan to continue that throughout their lives. One of the biggest questions that stumped the judges was:  What meal do you believe you prepare the best?  After about a whole minute, the chefs concluded it was quite hard to determine one.  The opinion would need to come from the “victim”. Although this is quite an intriguing answer, overall I would have to say that their passions for cooking were even more interesting.  Jen’s came from watching “Julia Child”, Eric’s came from watching Emril on television, and finally Dan’s came from an early job at a country club.  Taking time out of their day was greatly appreciated.
