1. If you were in a band, what instrument would you play?

I’d like to play the drums or the keyboard.

2. What is your favorite part about teaching?

I love seeing a lesson, which I’ve taught many times, become fresh and new because the students bring a new perspective.

3. If you could teach any other subject, what would it be?

I loved teaching French while we had it and hope it will return to the curriculum someday.

4. Do you have a celebrity crush? If so, who?

Nathan Fillion (He starred in the following TV series: Firefly, Castle, The Rookie).

5. What is your favorite movie?

This one is tough, since I have a number of favorites.  But, I think I’ll go with Kung Fu Panda 2.  It was beautifully made with a surprisingly profound message about healing.  It’s also unusual for a sequel to be better than the original, but I think this one achieves that standing.

6. If you had three wishes, what would you wish for?

• Can I wish for more wishes?

• I wish I could read super fast and easily recall all that info.

• I wish that all debilitating conditions (cancer, autoimmune disorders, anxiety, depression, etc.) would suddenly disappear and the people who struggle with them live their best life.

7. Do you have any hidden talents?

I trained my cat to sit, stand on her back legs, and touch her nose to a target on command.  We’re currently working on a high-five.
