On Friday, September 20th, Somerset Berkley had a home football game against Stoughton High School. Not only did we win but we scored many touchdowns and had no points scored against us. During the first quarter we had #3 Senior Zach King score the first touchdown and that was the end of the first quarter with a score of 6-0. We had many good plays throughout the game, #3 Junior Fintan Crook intercepted a pass while #5 Laim Meehan had been on a run throughout the entire game. Liam also got many recoveries during the game. Now, #14 captain Brendan McDonald does it once again with three touchdowns during this game. Second quarter ended with a score of 20-0. We then had a first down carried by #42 Junior Drew Dionne. Another touchdown was also scored by #1 Senior Finnian Bjork. Third quarter ended with a score of 35-0. There were countless great plays throughout the entire game and the final score at the end of quarter four was 38-0. We had many photographers on the field capturing this moment and I want to give a shoutout to Peyton Morosco for all the amazing photos she takes. It was a great game and it’s all thanks to the hard work that all these football players put in. I’m sure we will have a great season and a huge thanks to Coach Freitas and Coach Santos for making this all possible.
