This week the Somerset Berkley Regional High School volleyball team had a total of three games. They went against Durfee High School on Tuesday and had a great victory. The score was 3-0 and great teamwork was shown on the court. Some of the MVP’s of the game were Lauren Kanuse, Zach Dauphin, and Kori Tickel. But overall the team had an amazing performance. The Freshman team also beat Durfee with a score of 2-0. On Wednesday, October 16, unfortunately the volleyball team lost to Greater New Bedford Reg Voc/Tech High School with a score of 2-3. But even with the loss there was an outstanding performance. The game was super close and Addison Parent had 30 assists, two aces, and 12 digs. Cameryn Carey had six kills and eight digs. Zach Dauphin had four kills, two aces, and 14 digs. Cameryn Carey had six kills and eight digs. Lauren had 13 kills, four digs, and six blocks. But Kori Tickel came in with 27 digs. The volleyball team was on a roll. On Saturday, October 19, the volleyball had another win against New Bedford High School. The team won with a score of 3-2. Congrats to everyone on the volleyball team and I’m sure the rest of the season will be just as great. Good luck on the next volleyball game on Monday against Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School.
