The basketball teams here at SBRHS have been doing really good and are off to a great start this season. Both girls and boys basketball teams have had many wins. Yesterday, the boys had a great victory against Joseph Case High School with a score of 57-31. The success is amazing and they are currently 11-1. On Friday, January 3rd, Somerset Berkley Regional High School beat Bourne High School with a score of 66-62. This was a special game because Brendan McDonald scored his 1000th point! Congratulations Brendan on achieving such a huge goal. It’s incredible seeing how much effort everyone puts on the court. Finn Bjork, Max Finlaw, Dom Taylor, Zach King, and many other players have scored a lot as well this season. The next boys basketball game is home on Monday, January 27th, against Dartmouth High School so make sure to come and support them. The next girls basketball game is on Tuesday, January 28th, at Greater New Bedford Reg Voc/Tech High school. Make sure to show your school spirit and cheer them on!
