The Amazing Spiderman 2, slated for release on May 2nd, is an exciting looking picture, centered around Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) becoming more of a guardian over the people of New York City.  With the introduction of three villains, Electro (Jamie Foxx), The Rhino (Paul Giamatti) and the Green Goblin (Dane DeHaan), the film seems to be building up to a group known in the Spiderman universe as the Sinister Six.  This group makes it their sole purpose to rid new York City of the Spiderman, so that they can reap it of what they need and conquer whatever they desire.  I personally enjoyed the first of the Amazing Spiderman movies, finding Garfield to be an excellent substitute for Tobey Maguire in the lead role.  However, that movie’s issue centered around its dull villain, which I hope the new movie solves.  I recommend checking this movie out at your local Regal Cinemas once it is released.
