SBRHS Track Triumph

Recently, the boys and girls track teams competed in the EACs.  The boys came in first on Saturday, scoring 101 points, and the girls advanced to third.  The SBRHS track teams faced other schools, such as Feehan, West Bridgewater, Coyle, Martha’s Vineyard, and Stang on Saturday.  On Sunday, the girl’s long jump came in 6th and all of the boys high jumpers cleared 5th.  The girls sprint medley came in 10th.  Sunday’s meet was filled with schools from all across the state.  Both meets were at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston.  Coaches Evan, Nasiff, Nicole, and Velente congratulate all the track runners.  A lot of competitors achieved personal records in these meets.

However, it’s not over yet!  Even after a big win, the track teams now prepare for Coaches Invitational–a state meet where you have to have a certain time in order to qualify.  Congratulations to all of the members who competed in the EACs on Saturday and the state meet on Sunday, and good luck to everyone competing in the Coaches Invitational!
