Raiders Boy’s Ice Hockey Team Ties Martha’s Vineyard 3-3

Colby Yokell, Co-Editor

On Saturday, January 30, the boy’s Raiders Ice Hockey team played Martha’s Vineyard at their home rink.  The game was a close one, keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats.  Martha’s Vineyard scored the first goal, but the Raiders refused to stay behind.  After Martha’s Vineyard scored the goal, the Raiders bounced right back.  The final score at the end of the game was 3-3.  Captain Logan Santos (Senior) scored all three goals and ensured that his team would not fall in behind.  Both teams played excellently.  Even though the referees seemed biased from the crowd’s perspective, the Raiders would not let that keep them from tying up the game.  The Raiders played until the sound of the buzzer, demonstrating their heart and determination.  Be sure to support the Raiders Boy’s Ice Hockey team at their home game Saturday of next week against Stang, February 6, at 4 P.M.!
